Music3 commands

/play
Plays a title or a link. Playlist links add every track. The queue holds 100 tracks and duplicates are skipped. The bot joins your voice channel by itself. Text searches go through YouTube Music; links work for the platforms the audio node supports.
/nowplaying
Shows the current track with its length, volume, loop mode and queue size, plus the player buttons.
/filters
Bassboost, Nightcore, Vaporwave, 8D or off. Reset when the bot leaves.

Radio1 command

/radio
Plays one of 39 stations from 9 countries (autocomplete). Skip, loop, jump, remove and shuffle are disabled in radio mode; volume and filters still work. Use /play to go back to music.

Queue5 commands

/queue
Lists upcoming tracks, 10 per page, with buttons to change page.
/jump
Skips to the given position in the queue.
/remove
Removes the track at the given position.
/shuffle
Shuffles the queue. Also available as a button.
/clearqueue
Empties the queue. The current track keeps playing.

Playback control5 commands

/skip
Skips right away if you are alone with the bot, asked for the track, or are a DJ. Otherwise most listeners have to vote. The number option (1 to 20) is for DJs when others are listening.
/stop
Stops playback, clears the queue and leaves the channel.
/loop
Off, track or queue. Not available in radio mode.
/volume
From 0 to 150, default 80.
/djrole
Needs the Manage Server permission. Once a role is set, only that role (and Manage Server) can stop, loop, jump, remove, shuffle, clear the queue or change volume and filters. Anyone can still vote to skip. If you are alone in the channel you can always control playback.

Stats and saves5 commands

/stats
Your tracks and listening time, with your top 5 tracks, artists and radio stations. Only you see it.
/wrapped
A recap of this month, last month or the last 12 months: time listened, unique tracks and artists, active days, best streak and top lists. Only you see it unless you add share:true. Counting started with version 3.2.
/serverstats
Totals for the server: tracks played and listening time.
/save
Sends the playing track to your DMs and adds it to your list (50 at most, the oldest is replaced). Not available for radio.
/mysaves
Your last 25 saved tracks. Only you see them.

/privacy
on deletes what the bot holds about you and stops collection. off lets it collect stats again. status shows your setting.
/export
Sends you a JSON file with everything stored about you. Once every 30 days.
/resetstats
Permanently deletes your stats, saved tracks and recap data.

/help
Short list of commands with links to the legal pages.
/report
Sends a bug or abuse report to the bot owner. One per 24 hours.

Your data stays yours.

Listening stats are optional, pseudonymised and encrypted. This site has no cookies and no trackers.

Three commands cover your rights, and the privacy policy says exactly what is kept and for how long.

FAQ

Short answers to the usual questions.

Why does the bot say “No music playing on this server”?

EchoGuard is not connected to a voice channel in your server. Join a voice channel and use /play; the bot joins automatically.

Why does EchoGuard leave the voice channel?

It pauses when the last listener leaves and resumes when someone comes back. After about 10 minutes without activity (empty queue or empty channel), or 15 minutes while paused, it disconnects to save resources.

What data does EchoGuard store, and who can see it?

Only you can see your stats: the commands answer privately. Your Discord ID is replaced by a keyed hash and track names are encrypted. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Not comfortable? Run /privacy on — it deletes your data and stops all collection.

How do I get a copy of my data or delete it?

/export sends a JSON copy (once every 30 days). /resetstats deletes everything. /privacy on deletes it and prevents future collection.

Does this website use cookies or trackers?

No. There are no cookies, analytics, ads or third-party fonts, so there is no cookie banner.

Who provides the audio?

Audio is resolved and streamed by a public Lavalink node run by a third party (the Free Lavalink Project). It is outside our control, so it may be slow, limited or down at times, and it receives your search text and links — never your Discord ID or stats. Details in the Privacy Policy.

What sources does EchoGuard support?

Text searches use YouTube Music. Direct links work for the platforms the audio node supports (for example YouTube, Spotify or SoundCloud). A Spotify link is matched to playable audio. If a source fails, it is usually the node or the platform blocking requests.

Why was my request “queued” or slow?

To protect the shared audio node, EchoGuard sends at most 50 requests every 10 seconds and puts the rest in a fair queue. Requests wait a few seconds, then run.

How does vote skip work?

If you are alone with the bot, requested the track, or are a DJ, /skip works immediately. Otherwise a majority of the people listening (not deafened) must vote; votes reset on every new track.

What is the DJ role?

Admins with Manage Server can run /djrole. Then only DJs can stop, loop, jump, remove, shuffle, clear the queue, or change volume and filters. Everyone can still add music and vote to skip.

Is my queue kept after a restart?

Yes, for up to 30 minutes, if people are still in the voice channel. Tracks requested by users in privacy mode are never kept.

Does the internet radio support skip or loop?

No. A station is one continuous stream, so skip, loop, jump, remove and shuffle are off. Volume and filters work. Use /play to go back to music.

Why is /stats empty when I only listen to radio?

Radio time is credited about every 60 seconds while you actively listen (not paused or deafened). Radio does not add to the track count — only listening time and your top stations.

Why isn’t a track counted after I skip it?

A listen counts once most of the track has played: about 85% if you skip, or roughly 55% when it ends naturally. Tracks under 45 seconds never count. This keeps quick skips out of your stats.

Can I use EchoGuard in several channels at once?

One active player per server. Each server has its own independent session.

How does /save work?

Use /save while a track plays: it is sent to your DMs and stored encrypted (50 max, oldest replaced). List them with /mysaves. In privacy mode the DM is sent but nothing is stored.
